The Cowardly Domenic Recchia

Domenic Recchia should be ashamed of himself.

There are three Democratic candidates running for office in New York whose mistreatment of women is both well-known and disgusting. Whether it’s Eliot Spitzer for Comptroller, Anthony Weiner for Mayor, or Vito Lopez for City Council, New York is watching some of the most pathetic misogynists try and mount political comebacks.

And while politicians on both sides of the aisle are rightly denouncing those candidacies, Domenic Recchia remains silent.

SILENT!

It’s time that Staten Islanders know where Recchia stands. Will he denounce the aspirations of these disgraced men? Or will he cowardly put his party over the rights of women not to be harassed by sleazy politicians?
