According To These Two Polls, Obama and ObamaCare Are Sinking Fast
I bet the White House didn’t like seeing this Quinnipiac poll yesterday.
According to Quinnipiac, President Obama’s approval ratings are plummeting everywhere as ObamaCare continues to unravel and his empty promise that Americans can keep their health plans falls flat. Women, independents, Hispanics, and even young people have abandoned their support of the President:
American voters disapprove 54 – 39 percent of the job President Barack Obama is doing, his lowest approval rating in any Quinnipiac University national poll since he became president, as even women disapprove 51 – 40 percent, according to a national poll released today.
…
Today, disapproval is 58 – 37 percent among men, 91 – 6 percent among Republicans and 63 – 30 percent among independent voters. Democrats approve 79 – 14 percent. White voters disapprove 62 – 32 percent while black voters approve 75 – 15 percent and Hispanic voters disapprove by a slim 47 – 41 percent margin.
Voters in every income and age group disapprove of the job Obama is doing, with the biggest disapproval, 59 – 36 percent, among voters over 65 years old.
More revealing, for the first time, voters by a 52-44 margin say that the President is not honest and trustworthy. This development shouldn’t be surprising for the White House, considering that Americans are split 46-47 on whether Obama “knowingly” deceived voters when he promised that they could keep their health plans if they liked them.
The only thing faring worse than President Obama in public opinion is the Affordable Care Act.
Only 19 percent of American voters say the quality of care they and their families receive will improve in the next year because of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), while 43 percent say it will get worse and 33 percent say ACA won’t affect their health care.
Voters oppose the ACA 55 – 39 percent, with men opposed 59 – 37 percent and women opposed 51 – 41 percent.
Quinnipiac wasn’t the only poll yesterday to discover that ObamaCare is sinking fast. A new poll from Rasmussen found that just 35% of voters support the law, with 55% believing it is bad for the country – a 20-point gap.
Perhaps it’s time the White House start actually listening to the American people, who have been opposed to ObamaCare ever since the law was passed. It might help the President’s approval ratings.
