NRCC Ad Highlighting Nolan’s Votes to Release Terrorists and Defund Our Troops
Today, the National Republican Congressional Committee released the following ad in Minnesota’s 8th Congressional District. The ad, titled “Two Votes,” highlights Rep. Rick Nolan’s two dangerous votes to release terrorists from Guantanamo Bay and to defund our troops.
- Rick Nolan voted to allow the transfer or release of Guantanamo Bay detainees to their country of origin or to any other foreign country. (Roll Call #323, 6/19/14)
- Rick Nolan voted to end America’s ability to pursue Al Qaeda and other terrorist groups. He voted to end counterterrorism operations against Al Qaeda in Yemen and al-Shabab in the Horn of Africa. (Roll Call #330, 6/19/14)
