NRCC Weekly Rundown: Socialist Dems continue impeachment sham

Here’s this week’s edition of the NRCC Weekly Rundown:
 
(National) NEWSFLASH: Voters aren’t being persuaded by Democrats’ focus group-tested impeachment sham and it’s going to cost them their House majority. Here’s a quick recap:

• Axios reported a Firehouse/Optimus poll showing impeachment is helping President Trump in battleground states.
• American Action Network‘s polling from three battleground districts shows impeachment is a major vulnerability.
• A November Gallup poll revealed a 17 point swing amongst Independents, who now oppose impeachment 53-45.
• A November Emerson poll found that support for impeachment flipped since October from 48% support with 44% opposing to 45% opposed and 43% in support.

(AZ-01) Democrats are taking sides in AZ-01’s Democratic primary! Eva Putzova scored yet another endorsement – this time from the lefty group Peace Action who say Eva “is ready to fight for all people’s rights.” With so many Democrats supporting Eva and Tom O’Halleran’s recent decision to vote to impeach President Trump, 2020 isn’t looking so good for the incumbent Democrat…

(CA-21, CA-45) T.J. Cox and Katie Porter are duping their constituents yet again. Both Democrats promised they wouldn’t take money from corporations. So, to get around that promise and hide the cash, they’re now taking money from organizations that exclusively take money from corporations. (CA-25) Christy Smith and Cenk Uygur are fighting for the socialist soul of CA-25, with Bernie Sanders backing Cenk Uygur yesterday, and Nancy Pelosi backing Christy Smith on Wednesday. CA-25 is a swing district with an even PVI, which means its voters don’t like socialism. Good luck fighting for those socialist votes Cenk and Christy!

(FL-15) We warned you about a primary fight in FL-15 and we weren’t wrong! Prominent Florida Democrats are now picking sides between the DCCC’s handpicked candidate Adam Hattersley and failed candidate Alan Cohn. Now, just wait until the candidates have to endorse their party’s deranged socialist agenda, (which includes eliminating employer-based health insurance) in a district Trump won by double digits!

(FL-26) This week Debbie Mucarsel-Powell confirmed she’s all in on the socialist Democrats’ impeachment sham. But don’t be shocked, Debbie has always put the socialists in Washington before South Floridians by voting with their socialist agenda over 94% of the time, including voting against DHS aid for detention centers. Debbie always has been, and will continue to be a lapdog for DC socialists!

(GA-06) Lyin’ Lucy McBathconfirmed this week she’ll be supporting the socialist Democrats’ scheme to overturn the 2016 election and remove President Trump from office. After months of literally hiding her stance from Georgians, Lucy has come clean by showing she’d rather back the socialists in Washington than listen to her own constituents. Lucy clearly couldn’t care less about Georgians and it will guarantee her defeat in November!

(IA-01) Endangered Iowa Democrat Abby Finkenauer is once again hiding from constituents and the press on impeachment. KWWL reported that she’s still not confirming if she will vote for or against impeachment. But, Abbycan’t hide forever, as Democrats are full steam ahead with their effort to remove President Trump from office!

(IL-06) Sean Casten has officially decided he wants to be a one-term Congressman after announcing his decision to vote to impeach President Trump. Casten claims he “didn’t come to Congress to impeach the President,” but that’s been his goal since 2017. P.S: He was also among the first to announce his support for impeachment and he’s been talking about it literally non-stop ever since!

(IL-14) Fake Nurse Lauren Underwood was whining this week about stopping the spread of misinformation on social media. So does that mean Underwood will start with the misinformation she’s peddling? After all, Underwood ran for Congress pretending to be a nurse, but as the New York Times reported, she “never specifically worked with patients.”

(KS-03) In case you missed it, Sharice Davids became one of the first endangered Dems to announce she will vote to impeach President Trump. Davids made the decision despite polls showing that impeachment is backfiring on Democrats and remains incredibly unpopular among swing voters. Instead of working on the issues Kansans care about, Sharice Davids has proven herself to be a partisan hack who’s obsessed with impeachment!

(MI-03) In 2017, Justin Amash said he couldn’t say President Trump obstructed justice since he didn’t “practice in that area of law.” Fast forward to 2019 where obstruction of justice expert Justin Amash says he will vote to impeach Trump because he thinks Trump obstructed justice. Jump to 2020 where lame duck Congressman Justin Amash has to polish up his resume after being voted out of office over his hatred of President Trump!

(MI-06) Socialist Jon Hoadley voiced his enthusiastic support for impeaching and removingPresident Trump from office in 2017, but now that his deranged party actually passed articles of impeachment, Hoadley is silent. I wonder why…

(MI-08) After pontificating about her support for impeachment in the Washington Post, Elissa Slotkin is now “undecided” on whether she will vote for impeachment. Maybe it was the chorus of boos she received back home, or maybe it was the polling foreshadowing her political demise. Either way, Slotkin has made it clear she’s a partisan hack who refuses to keep promises. Slotkin needs more time to decide what’s stronger: her hatred for President Trump or love for being a Washington politician!

(MI-11) Haley Stevens has finally taken a look at the polling! Why else would she tell WSJ she’s in a “listening and review period” on impeachment? REMINDER: Just weeks ago she voted for and doubled down on her support of the sham…

(MN-02) Angie Craig is getting cold feet after discovering how unpopular her support for the socialist Democrats’ impeachment sham is in MN-02. This isn’t the first (or second) time Angie has changed her stance on impeachment stance based off political repercussions. One thing that won’t change: Angie Craig will always be another liberal partisan hack in Congress who hates President Trump!

(NE-02) Comrade Kara Eastman, who insists she’s not a socialist, was endorsed by the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA). Comrade Kara fits right in with the loony leftists at DSA, whose platform is focused on a $93 trillion government takeover of the economy and socialized medicine. Although, there’s no word on whether Comrade Kara will appear at the next DSA convention so she can debate hot topics like gendered pronoun usage.

(NY-11)  Despite actively working to impeach and remove President Trump from office, Max Rose made time to stand on stage behind the president during a news conference. Making it all the more ridiculous, the event was organized to highlight President Trump’s executive order targeting anti-Semitism. Does Rose’s presence signal he’s finally ready to call for anti-Semite Ilhan Omar to be removed from the House Foreign Affairs Committee? Or was this all just a photo-op?

(NV-03) Susie Lee – who told the Las Vegas Sun she won’t take a dime of corporate money – has updated her website to let dark money groups know “voters in the Las Vegas media market need to know that Susie Lee is a local problem solver.”  And surprise, surprise! House Majority Forward – a Democrat dark money group that loves corporate money– just announced it’s going up on TV to support Susie Lee. Coincidence? I think not.
 
(OK-05) In case you missed it, Kendra Horn got an earful from constituents angry over her party’s obsession with impeachment. Key line from an independent 2018 Horn voter: “If she votes for impeachment, she’s screwed.” Click HERE to read more.

(OR-04) On the way to a DC fundraiser this week, Peter DeFazio reiterated that he wants to baselessly remove President Trump from office. Half of OR-04 voted for President Trump, so of course DeFazio would rather “impeach the m*****f*****” than take his chances on the 2020 election!

(PA-07) Susan Wild confirmed she will be backing House Democrats’ baseless efforts to overturn the 2016 election and remove President Trump from office. After cosponsoring legislation to implement government-run health care and praising the Green New Deal, Wild’s impeachment crusade is the latest evidence she couldn’t care less about the interests of Lehigh Valley voters!

(PA-17) It’s official: Conor Lambsupports removing President Trump from office and will lose reelection in 2020! Lamb’s support for impeachment is a far cry from what he promised voters after winning in 2018, “I know there are people that voted for the president who also voted for me and I thank them for hearing me out and I am looking forward to fulfilling my promise of actually representing them.”
 
(TX-31) Cheri Bustos’ DCCC boldly named TX-31 as one of their 2020 targets back in January. But the filing deadline has now come and gone, leaving them with a host of D-list candidates, the best fundraiser of whom has just $57k cash on hand compared to Rep. Carter’s $725k. Guess it was hard to convince folks to run after failed Congressional candidate MJ Hegar spent an eye-popping $5 million and still lost by 3 points!

(TX-32) Colin Allred made it official this morning, announcing he will vote for impeachment. Allred’s decision to throw his political career away over his hatred of President Trump comes as polling shows that Americans do not support the Democrats’ effort to remove the president from office!

(VA-02) Elaine Luria has been ready to impeachPresident Trump since day one, but that didn’t stop her from standing directly behind him at a news conference this week. The event was organized to highlight President Trump’s executive order targeting anti-Semitism, so does this mean Elaine will finally call for anti-Semite Ilhan Omar’sremoval from the Foreign Affairs Committee?

Democrat who opposed Trump, Clinton impeachment inquiries faces big test

Rep. Collin Peterson (D-Minn.) is the only House Democrat who voted against the impeachment inquiry against President Trump and in favor of launching the inquiry against President Clinton.

The unusual voting record largely reflects the nature of Peterson’s conservative district, which he’s held despite repeated GOP challenges since he first won election in 1990. Republicans again will try to knock out Peterson in next year’s election — should he decide to run for a 16th term.

“There’s no room for Colin Peterson in Congress anymore,” NRCC spokeswoman Carly Atchison said of the Blue Dog Democrat, a caucus of centrist Democrats that has focused on fiscal responsibility.

‘Let Our Votes Count’: Voters Fume at Dem Rep Over Impeachment

Virginia Democrat Rep. Abigail Spanberger faced the wrath of angry constituents this week for her support for the impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump.

“The allegations against the president are incredibly, incredibly serious,” Spanberger, who represents a Trump-supporting district, said during a town hall on Sunday. “No one has dispelled, or attempted to dispel or provide evidence that would exonerate the president,” she added later.

“He hasn’t done anything wrong,” a constituent yelled back.

“Y’all have been trying to impeach this man since he got elected,” another shouted.

The crowd yelled that the allegations are “incredible bullshit,” “crap,” and “all lies,” as Spanberger tried to address them.

“Let our votes count. Don’t take them away,” another constituent said. READ.


Another Trump District Democrat Ripped By Constituents Over Impeachment: ‘If She Votes For Impeachment, She’s Screwed’

 Constituents ripped Democratic Oklahoma Rep. Kendra Horn on Sunday, saying Democrats focus too much on impeachment and too little on improving the lives of Americans.

Horn, who represents most of Oklahoma, Pottawatomie and Seminole counties, spoke at a Sunday town hall meeting where voters angrily questioned her on why she continues to focus on impeachment. President Donald Trump won Horn’s district in the 2016 presidential election, and eight Republicans announced they will run for her vulnerable seat in 2020, according to the Oklahoman.

“As an independent voter, I think you’re in a lot of trouble if you vote for this impeachment,” said Edmond, Oklahoma, resident Susan Jaslow, the Oklahoman reported. Jaslow voted for Horn in 2018, but said she is part of a group of independent voters upset about the impeachment circus.

“If she votes for impeachment, she’s screwed,” Jaslow added. READ.
