In today’s America, Bo Hines recognizes the tremendous need to continue to defend the America First agenda. As the America First conservative candidate endorsed by President Donald J. Trump in North Carolina’s 13th Congressional District, Bo Hines has established a campaign focused on grassroots engagement and defense of the values he shares with the majority of North Carolinians. His aim is to maximize opportunities to connect with like- minded stakeholders both in his home state and across the country, and – ultimately – advance the values we all share.

Bo Hines has traveled upwards of 75,000 miles across the State of North Carolina over the past year and has developed relationships with Republican Party activists and voters alike. Driven by his rigorous grassroots efforts, Bo Hines has distinguished himself as approachable and genuine on the campaign trail. He has earned a reputation as a leader who wants to hear challenges facing voters and their families – and pursue solutions to improve the lives of all.

Bo Hines is running for Congress in the newly drawn 13th Congressional District, which includes all of Johnston County as well as portions of Wake, Wayne, and Harnett Counties. This seat is the only true toss-up seat in the state and will serve as the bellwether indicator of Republicans’ ability to regain the majority of the United States House of Representatives. Therefore, Bo Hines is doing his part to secure the majority while fighting for an America First agenda.

Bo Hines’ agenda includes implementing term limits for Members of Congress, securing long- overdue infrastructure funding for North Carolina, and fighting for our individual liberties. An aggressive, organized, data-driven, and well-run campaign is imperative for Bo Hines’ November 2022 victory. Therefore, he has made a significant personal investment and respectfully requests your support to expand upon the platform and momentum he has built in his campaign.

Bo Hines has always been a hard worker. That work ethic came from watching his parents – both entrepreneurs – launch and successfully run numerous small businesses. From the time he was a small child, he vividly remembers the long hours and sleepless his nights that both his father (Todd) and mother (Deb) invested into ensuring their businesses and employees could continue to thrive and succeed.

Bo Hines’ father, Todd, started a licensed-
apparel company in the early 1990s and
fundamentally transformed how product licensing was conducted throughout the world. Todd took this experience and pivoted into manufacturing hard goods for the NFL, MLB, and NHL. After 30 successful years in this field, Todd left the licensing industry and shifted his focus to real estate development and holdings. He also launched a well-known exotic car dealership that provided unique and sought-after vehicles to clients throughout the country which he recently sold to the Sonic Automotive Group (NYSE: SAH).

Bo Hines’ mother, Deb, owns and operates a company that represents furniture companies to corporations and takes the leading consulting role on their behalf when the time comes to furnish their offices and headquarters.

Bo Hines took that work ethic he learned from his parents to the gridiron when he started playing football. He learned quickly that the pillars of success his parents taught him – hard work, persistence, and never giving up the fight – would lead him to success on the football field . . . and it did. Bo Hines was awarded a scholarship to play football at North Carolina State University. As a freshman, his teammates elected him to be their representative on the Athletic Council and he was ultimately honored as a Freshman All-American wide receiver.

Even though Bo Hines was well on his way to playing professional football, he had this constant voice in the back of his mind that he was supposed to be doing something different . . . something that would benefit the People of North Carolina who had given him so many wonderful opportunities to succeed.

So, after his freshman year at North Carolina State University, Bo Hines transferred to Yale University to study political science and to learn more about government. While at Yale, Bo Hines had the opportunity to witness the legislative process first-hand when he worked on Capitol Hill and in several statewide elected official offices. After graduating from Yale University, Bo Hines returned home to North Carolina to pursue his law degree at the Wake Forest University School of Law.

Bo Hines met his wife, Mary Charles, in high school. They both attended Charlotte Christian School in South Charlotte. While they didn’t date in high school, they developed a friendship that lasted into college. They began to date during Bo Hines’ last year at Yale and Mary Charles’ last year at South Carolina University. They were married in a small, private ceremony in July of 2021 and are in the process of starting their family in North Carolina – the state they both love and have a deep connection with.

Mary Charles is in the process of obtaining her CPA certification and works for several auto dealerships in North Carolina.

Bo Hines deliberately launched his campaign for Congress earlier than usual for several strategic reasons. The foremost reason is to spend as much time as possible engaging with voters one-on-one. By investing time in grassroots engagement, Bo Hines is able to ensure voters know where he stands on the issues of importance to them and their families, and have the opportunity to form a personal opinion of him early on in his race.

Another goal of his early launch was to set the tone and tenor of the election cycle. This approach enables the campaign to spend resources more efficiently, effectively, and responsibly than campaigns that are having to be reactive on a regular basis.

Bo Hines is the best choice to defend our shared conservative values – creating an attractive environment for job creators to create good-paying jobs, defending our individual liberties and freedoms from a tyrannical bureaucracy, returning educational decision-making power to parents, fighting to secure our borders, and protecting the unborn.
