Michelle Bond was born and raised on Long Island in New York’s First District in Suffolk County – graduating from Miller Place High School and attending classes at SUNY Stony Brook. Now that NY-01’s Representative Lee Zeldin is running for Governor and we have a newly-designed district, Bond is hitting the campaign trail to make sure the needs of the First District are being represented with qualified and responsible conservative leadership in Congress.

When elected, Bond will work to reduce taxes and bureaucracy within the government, knowing that overtaxing businesses and the residents of Long Island reduces economic growth and hurts families. She will work to ensure our community is safe and secure – from economic threats, crime, terrorism and illegal immigration. As Long Islanders struggle with prices at the pump, high taxes, cost of living and inflation, we need to send someone to Washington who knows and understands how to get our economy moving again. The insiders have failed us.

After graduating law school first in her class, Bond has spent her career getting things done in business and drafting economy-first policy, and now she would like to take that skill set to Washington by representing her hometown as your congresswoman. Having risen to the challenges of an ever-changing finance industry over her nearly two decades, she knows how the halls of power operate, and she will bring this expertise and business acumen to representing Suffolk County.

Having worked on policy at several stops in both the public and private sector, she is no stranger to the challenges of overreaching government and is currently running one of the most successful trade organizations in Washington. As the leader of the Association for Digital Asset Markets, Bond works day in and day out with Congress and the Executive branch to create an environment where a new financial world can unleash their innovations to provide new roads to prosperity for everyday Americans and to provide an important alternative to run-away inflation.

Through her prior experience working in the public sector with the Republican side of the U.S. Senate and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, she understands how decisions are made and what levers need to be pulled to make sure her constituents are a priority for Washington. She will not be just another new congresswoman; she will be delivering results from day one.

Bond is a summa cum laude graduate of both Baruch College and The Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law, graduating first in her law school class. Bond is licensed to practice in both New York and DC and has been covered by Fox, Fortune’s Most Powerful Women, BBC, as well as featured in Bloomberg, Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, CNBC, Barron’s, Business Insider, POLITICO, The Hill, RealClearMarkets, The Block, CoinDesk, Traders Magazine, and other leading publications.
