Tim Reichert is an economist and businessman living in Golden, Colorado. He is the founder and CEO of Economics Partners, a firm of economists with offices around the US and in Israel. He was a Partner at both Ernst & Young, and Duff & Phelps.

Tim grew up in a loving, lower-income family during the inflationary 1970s. His experience of inflation and its effects on his family during the 1970s led eventually to his becoming an economist. He was the first member of his family to attend college and is a graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville. He worked his way through college as a roofer and road construction worker. He received a doctorate in economics from George Mason University in 2003, the only student in his entering class to work full-time while completing a PhD.

As a child, Tim worked in the fields with migrant workers during his summers, an experience that affected him deeply. His love and compassion for the disenfranchised and less fortunate is reflected in his work in the community. He and his wife Martha work with the homeless through their support and participation in the mission of Christ in the City and the Missionaries of Charity. They have both served on the board of ENDOW and Martha served as President to the organization. ENDOW is an international women’s organization dedicated to widespread education on the dignity of women which has been headquartered in Colorado for almost two decades.

Tim serves on the board of St. John Vianney Seminary and Martha serves on the Board of Thomas Aquinas College, The Augustine Institute, ENDOW, and Creatio.

Tim knows we are in desperate need of solutions-oriented leadership in Washington. Career politicians have stopped working for Coloradans, while the cost of groceries, gas, and housing has never been higher. Tim is laser-focused on solutions to grow the middle class and get our economy working again and will bring with him to Congress a Middle Class Restoration Act on Day 1.

Much of Tim’s economics research centers on the erosion of the middle class of America, and how to restore it. One of his main reasons for seeking public office is his deeply held belief that we must take the restoration of the middle class much more seriously, through sound and feasible economic policies.

Tim and Martha have four children. Their oldest son is an entrepreneur and businessman, employing eight employees in Thornton, Colorado. Their oldest daughter is a front-line healthcare worker. Their youngest son is also an entrepreneur and computer scientist, and their youngest daughter is a full-time college student.
