Rangel’s Tax Panel Job Should be Stripped: GOP Big

The top Republican House leader on Tuesday demanded House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Charles Rangel step down over ethics allegations.

House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) urged Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) to remove the Manhattan Democrat while questions hound Rangel over his New York and Caribbean properties.

Rangel has requested the House Ethics Committee to probe his record three times recently.
