PMA Sues Windber Medical

The Windber Research Institute is being sued by a political lobbying firm that plans to close its doors at the end of the month.
PMA Group of Arlington, Va., filed a suit against the institute, asking for $121,661.50.
The firm said in the suit that the institute did not pay a $13,000 a month stipend from July to February. In addition to that stipend, Windber agreed to reimburse PMA for reasonable expenses the lobbyists had incurred. The group is also charging interest on the money owed, the suit said.
