PMA Probe Launched by Ethics Committee

The House Ethics Committee is officially investigating the relationship between lawmakers and the defunct PMA Group, a lobbying firm that is reportedly the subject of a far-reaching Justice Department probe.
Committee Chairwoman Zoe Lofgren (D-Calif.) acknowledged the inquiry in a brief letter posted on their Web site that makes no explicit mention of the lobbying firm — or the lawmakers that have been at the center of the matter, Reps. Jack Murtha (D-Penn.) and Peter Visclosky (D-Indiana).
Instead, it references a June 3rd House resolution targeting PMA, my colleague John Bresnahan reports.
