NY-23 Polling
October 2, 2009
A Sienna College Research Institute poll shows Republican Dede Scozzafava with a lead of 7 points in the NY-23 Special Election to replace Congressman John McHugh. Scozzafava is ahead of Democrat Bill Owens 35-28%, with Conservative candidate Doug Hoffman trailing with 16% and no clear path to winning the election. Siena Pollster Steve Greenberg commented: “It is very hard to see a roadmap that would allow him (Doug Hoffman) to win this race.”
