Democrat Operatives Claim Government Healthcare Takeover Is a Political Winner, Vow to Go on the Offensive

Holding up signs and American flags, dozens of local residents rallied on the Vegas strip … near Caesar’s Palace, some chanting in favor and others in strong opposition of a revamp of the nation’s healthcare system.
Constituent: “Kill the bill! Kill the bill!”
Protestors got into heated debates and metro even stepped in to keep the flow of foot traffic moving. The Senate version of the bill will extend coverage to over 30 million uninsured Americans. Many insist that government-run healthcare will only increase insurance premiums and the national debt.
Constituent: “We have to address those that need health insurance. Absolutely. There is no quarrel about that. Both parties agree with that, but at the current cost.”

Constituent: “They’re going to dictate what your health care should be.”
Constituent: “It’s not taking over anybody’s insurance. You can continue to have the insurance that you want. If they can have the insurance that they want, why can’t I have the insurance that I would like to have….” (KTNV ABC Las Vegas, Action News at 4:30)
