Stark Subject of Ethics Review

Rep. Pete Stark, D-Calif., a 19-term lawmaker who is one of Congress’ leading health care experts, is the subject of a House ethics panel review, the committee has revealed.
The ethics committee did not disclose the nature of the review but says it will announce “a course of action” by Feb. 10.
The House Committee on Standards and Official Conduct released this statement on Christmas Eve, announcing it will extend an investigation that began with the Office of Congressional Ethics. The Capitol Hill newspaper Roll Call caught the item today.
