GOP Pushes Massa Probe

THE SCANDAL around disgraced ex-Rep. Eric Massa rocked Capitol Hill again yesterday as Republicans forced ethics officials to take another look at sordid charges of sexual harassment – and how they were handled.
The House voted nearly unanimously to make the ethics committee consider keeping the probe open after revelations that Massa’s chief of staff approached House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office about his boss in October.
The staffer went to a Pelosi aide with an article from an upstate New York newspaper that revealed Massa was living with five of his young aides, a Democratic source confirmed.
He also raised concerns “about the way Massa runs the office and the use of strong language,” the Democrat said.
