Informing Ohio Families of Tax-Payer Funded Abortion Language in the Democrats’ Healthcare Bill
Washington- The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) has launched its latest installment of Project Code Red with targeted phone calls today informing Ohio families and voters of abortion language hidden in the Democrats’ healthcare bill. Missing from the Democrats’ 2,000-page bill is language prohibiting federal funds to be used to pay for abortions. The targeted calls will encourage Ohio voters to send a loud and clear message to Space by calling his office and telling him to vote ‘no’ on his party’s healthcare takeover that will allow for taxpayer funding of abortions.
The NRCC’s “Project Code Red,” housed at www.gopcodered.com, is an effort to force Democrats to state whether they stand with middle class Americans or Washington party bosses when it comes to the Democrat’s healthcare agenda.
“As the President’s self-imposed deadline to pass healthcare quickly approaches, Nancy Pelosi will be leaning hard on Zack Space for another ‘yes’ vote,” said NRCC Communications Director Ken Spain. “Americans have repeatedly rejected the Democrats’ reckless healthcare agenda, but Space doesn’t seem to get the message. Space already folded once to his party’s pressure to pass healthcare; will he do it again?”
