NRCC Has $8 Million Month, DCCC Raises $9.7 Million

The National Republican Congressional Committee reported it raised $8 million in March, marking ” the most successful fundraising month since being in the minority,” said Rep. Jeb Hensarling, chief of the group’s fundraising efforts.
In a release, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee reported $26 million in cash on hand, based on month-to-date receipts of $9.77 million and a first-quarter take of $18.82 million.
DCCC expenditures were $9.45 million for the quarter and $3.55 million in the past month. The ledger also showed a zero, since the DCCC paid off its loan at the end of March. Both committees will report zero debt.
