Pelosi Says She'd Speak to Ethics Panel About Massa Scandal

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Thursday that she will speak with the ethics committee, if asked, as the panel investigates a sexual harassment scandal surrounding the office of former Rep. Eric Massa.
She also endorsed Majority Leader Steny Hoyer’s call for a review of procedures for protecting congressional employees from allegations of sexual harassment.
“I support it,” she said of Hoyer’s request for three entities – the ethics committee, the House Administration Committee and the Office of Compliance – to work together to strengthen the system for reporting allegations of misconduct.
