NRCC Releases Mark Critz “Facelook” Web Ad Highlights Critz’s Efforts to Hide His Support for Obama’s Anti-Coal Agenda
Washington- The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) has launched a new web ad targeting Democrat candidate Mark Critz for his support of Obama’s job-killing agenda as he travels to Western Pennsylvania today with anti-coal Vice President Joe Biden. The ad pokes fun at Critz for his close relationships with his fellow Washington insiders through a mock Facebook page for the Pennsylvania candidate. Critz’s support for the Obama-Biden cap-and-trade agenda stands in direct opposition to the interests of Western Pennsylvanians and would harm the area’s economy and force layoffs.
Biden has already demonstrated his anti-coal scheme, declaring there won’t be any coal plants in America:
“‘No coal plants here in America,’ he said.” “‘We’re not supporting clean coal,’ he said of himself and Obama.” (Ben Smith, “Biden: ‘No coal plants here in America,” Politico, 02/23/2008)
“Mark Critz’s close friendship with Washington insiders and unwavering support for Obama’s job-killing agenda proves his blatant disregard for the struggling middle-class families of Western Pennsylvania,” said NRCC Communications Director Ken Spain. “While Critz parades around Pittsburgh today with anti-coal leader Joe Biden, voters will see firsthand his support for radical policies that will hurt Western Pennsylvania’s economy and cost middle-class families thousands of jobs.”
Mark Critz may say one thing to his Democrat leaders in Washington and something completely different to voters on the campaign trail, but unfortunately for him, Western Pennsylvanians can see through his political double-speak and won’t be fooled on Election Day.
