Bad News for ObamaCare

July 6, 2010

According to a today’s Rasmussen poll, approximately 60% of voters across the country favor the repeal of ObamaCare. While the range of support for the repeal has been between 52% and 63%, today’s poll demonstrates the upward trend of support for repealing health care legislation.
It is no wonder Obama has been having trouble gaining support for health care legislation, because “most voters believe the current plan will harm the economy, cost more than projected, raise the cost of care, and lead to higher middle-class taxes,” according to Rasmussen and Shoen in the Wall Street Journal. While voters struggle in a bad economy, it has been hard for Obama to justify Washington’s out-of-control spending, and today’s poll proves Americans discontent with ObamaCare.
Though Washington Democrats may be eager to continuing to nationalize Health Care and increase the size of government, a majority of voters disagree. Hopefully, the support of repealing ObamaCare being in the majority nationwide is a forecast for Republicans gaining back the majority of the House this November. And now that White Castle has revealed the damage ObamaCare will do to its ability to create jobs, it is obvious that nationalized Health Care is taking down anything prosperous in the country. As the polls slide in favor of repealing Obamacare, hopefully action can be taken in time to save the true White Castle slider.
