Jackson’s Star has Taken a Dramatic Fall

Jesse Jackson Jr.’s once-rising star has taken a dramatic fall amid allegations that a longtime Jackson fund-raiser offered to raise at least $1.5 million for Rod Blagojevich upfront — and as much as $5 million more after the fact — if the former governor appointed Jackson to the U.S. Senate.

But Sandi Jackson said, “He’s not wounded at all. Most of what you heard was an attorney making a spirited defense on behalf of his client. Jesse is going to be fine.”
