Renacci Airs First General Election TV Ad
Former Wadsworth mayor Jim Renacci, the Republican congressional challenger to Alliance Democratic Rep. John Boccieri, started running his first general election television ad today. It touts Renacci’s background as a businessman without mentioning the incumbent.
Share “Washington spending and regulation have taken a toll, but we can stop them now,” Renacci says in the ad.
A press release about the ad was more critical of Boccieri.
“While John Boccieri remains in hiding, refusing to discuss the issues that matter to voters—like our double digit unemployment rate or his votes for the cap and trade nergy tax, ObamaCare and the Obama-Pelosi stimulus plan, I am proud to campaign on my low-tax, low-spending, pro-growth principles that our state and our country so desperately need,” Renacci said in the release.
Renacci spokesman James Slepian said the ad is part of a $250,000 two-week buy that Renacci made on broadcast and cable television.
