The Battle Out West
The latest polling out on the West coast gives yet another glimpse into just how rough November is going to be for Democrats.
American Action Forum, which surveyed voters AZ-01, AZ 05, AZ-08, CA-11, CA-47, CO-03, CO-04, NM-01, NV-03 and OR-05, shows Republican candidates leading or narrowing the gap in these battleground seats.
Some of the biggest leads for Republicans out West include:
AZ-01:
Paul Gosar (R): 47%
Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick (D): 41%
AZ-05:
David Schweikert (R): 50%
Rep. Harry Mitchell (D): 44%
CO-03:
Scott Tipton (R): 51%
Rep. John Salazar: 43%
CO-04:
Cory Gardner (R): 50%
Rep. Betsy Markey (D): 39%
NV-03:
Joe Heck (R): 48%
Rep. Dina Titus (D): 45%
Dems once thought safe are clearly in for the closest elections of their careers.
