EBJ Blames Staff for Scholarship Scandal

“ANDERSON COOPER: I’m trying to figure out how it happened. And you say you take responsibility. I’m asking, specifically, who on your staff reviewed these applications? Because, whoever did that, for several years, saw that these kids were promising that they weren’t your relatives.

“JOHNSON: The responsibility rests with my chief of staff.

“COOPER: What?

“JOHNSON: My chief of staff had the responsibility. I can’t tell you who always did, because to be quite honest with you, I work pretty hard.”
