NRCC Launches Web Ad: “Going Nowhere”

Washington – The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) has launched a web ad targeting Democrats for driving away from the economic agenda that has skyrocketed unemployment, ballooned our deficit and brought our debt to an unprecedented level. Democrats have ignored the voices of the American people for the past 20 months, but with November elections just eight weeks away, it’s time that voters put the brakes on the Democrat party’s runaway spending and elect Republican candidates who will provide sound economic solutions. And while “everybody can buy a truck” and “run slick ads,” it is clear that Democrats are merely employing a political strategy that only aims to distract from their record and cover up their failed economic policies.

“Democrats have saddled our country with a burden of reckless spending and record deficits, and now they are driving away from their failed economic agenda,” said NRCC Communications Director Ken Spain. “Rather than putting the brakes on their party’s runaway spending spree and employing real solutions to get our economy back on track, all Democrats can seem to do is ask voters to overlook their job-killing policies that are going nowhere.”
