Bill Flores Launches Third General Election TV Ad
Republican Bill Flores launched his third television ad in his general election bid to unseat incumbent U.S. Rep. Chet Edwards, D-Waco.
The ad, called “Silence,” is running in Waco and Bryan-College Station. It knocks Edwards for allegedly trying to keep his voting record, which tracks closely with that of Democratic Party leadership, under the radar. Here’s the script: Voiceover: “What do most of Chet Edwards’ TV ads say about his voting record in Washington? Nothing. Chet Edwards is not talking about his vote for the Pelosi budget to raise taxes on the middle class. Chet’s not talking about his vote for Obama’s wasteful stimulus. And Chet’s silent about voting with Nancy Pelosi 96 percent of the time. Our Congressman has changed. It’s time to change our Congressman.” Flores: “I’m Bill Flores and I approve this message.” |
