OCE Complaint Filed Against Tierney

The state Republican Party has filed a complaint with the Office of Congressional Ethics requesting an investigation into whether Congressman John Tierney violated the Ethics in Government Act.
In a five-page letter, Republican Party Chairwoman Jennifer Nassour said Tierney could have violated the law by failing to report his wife’s handling of a bank account, from 2003 to 2009, that federal authorities allege contained $7 million of her brother’s illegal gambling profits.
