Stand with Our Republican Majority

Dear Supporter,

Last week, House Republicans passed a long-term budget by Chairman Paul Ryan that would help boost job creation today and lift the debt burden that threatens our children and grandchildren.

Unfortunately, the Democrats who run Washington aren’t serious about addressing our looming debt crisis.

They believe it serves their political interests to try to demonize our proposals to cut spending and preserve critical health and retirement programs for future generations.

That’s why your support is more critical than ever.

The national debt has surpassed $14.2 trillion, and will soon eclipse the size of our economy. The American people know we cannot continue to spend money that we don’t have.

But Democrats aren’t listening. President Obama’s budget would add another $9.1 trillion to the debt and impose $1.5 trillion in job-crushing tax hikes. It’s a plan that spends, borrows and taxes too much.

By comparison, the GOP’s jobs budget – The Path to Prosperity – would:

• Cut $6.2 trillion in government spending from the President’s budget over the next decade;
• Prevent massive tax hikes to help end some of the uncertainty facing small businesses; and
• Balance the budget and pay down our national debt over time.
