Here is what you need to know.
While House Republicans are working hard to return our country to economic prosperity and strengthen and secure Medicare, Democrats, led by Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and President Obama, prefer to bury their heads in the sand and maintain the status quo. As a result, we have two courses of action on the table:
- Republicans: Address our country’s impending debt crisis today by saving and strengthening Medicare for generations to come.
- Democrats: Watch Medicare go bankrupt, forcing a 17 percent cut in benefits for seniors – that is Nancy Pelosi’s best case scenario!
We cannot let that happen and thanks to your generous support the NRCC is on the offense. Across the nation we are holding Democrats accountable. The NRCC is working actively to directly contact voters from Connecticut to Iowa to Oregon. We are also currently running TV ads in California against Rep. Jerry McNerney, as well as for Republican Jane Corwin in the special election for NY-26 – where at least one Democrat candidate agrees with Pelosi to cut Medicare benefits with no plan to save the program from insolvency.
Instead of governing, Democrats have chosen to play politics and use their propaganda machine to distort the truth. We are fighting back but we need your continued support to ensure that no false, liberal attack goes unanswered.
