NRCC Video: Marshall Wants to Borrow Even More Without Cutting Spending
Nevada Democrat Would Demand a New Credit Card to Borrow More Debt from China

Washington — The National Republican Congressional Committee today announced a new video highlighting Kate Marshall’s commitment to keep fueling the Democrats’ spending spree with more borrowing from foreign countries like China. Instead of having the government live within its means, Marshall would raise Obama’s debt ceiling without cuts so that the Democrats can continue spending and placing that burden on future generations in Nevada.

“Like Harry Reid and Barack Obama, Kate Marshall enthusiastically supports raising Obama’s debt ceiling without spending cuts,” said NRCC Communications Director Paul Lindsay. “It comes as no surprise that Kate Marshall is Harry Reid’s handpicked candidate given her endorsement of Washington’s big-spending agenda that continues to recklessly borrow money from China instead of having the government live within its means.”

The transcript for the video is as follows:

ANNCR: The United States borrows $4 billion dollars every single day.

ANNCR: Already $14 trillion dollars in debt.

ANNCR: But instead of cutting up Washington’s credit card, Kate Marshall would raise Obama’s debt limit, without spending cuts.

KATE MARSHALL: At this point, I’m going to have to raise that debt ceiling.

ANNCR: Yep, that’s Kate Marshall.

ANNCR: $4 billion borrowed every day. $14 trillion in debt.

ANNCR: To places like the People’s Republic of China.

ANNCR: Call Kate Marshall; tell her we can’t afford more debt.

ANNCR: The National Republican Congressional Committee is responsible for the content of this advertising.
