Will Altmire Continue to Ask You to Pay for More Spending?
Pennsylvania Democrat to Vote on Another Chance for a Blank Check Today

Washington — Although Jason Altmire and his Democrat allies helped champion a spending spree that resulted in record deficits and debt levels, Altmire’s Democrat leaders want to be able to spend and tax even more instead of living within their means. Specifically, Altmire’s party leaders are frantically requesting another blank check for more spending by supporting a higher borrowing limit without any spending cuts today. Will Altmire again help his Democrat leaders today in supporting their plans to continue their spending spree with American taxpayer dollars unabated?

“Jason Altmire has loyally aided his Democrat leaders in racking up the most debt in American history, and he is showing no signs of abandoning his free-spending ways,” said NRCC Communications Director Paul Lindsay. “If Altmire votes today to continue these policies free from any spending cuts, he’ll be requiring more tax dollars from the pockets of Pennsylvania families who all share the increasing government debt burden to foreign countries like China.”

The House will hold a vote on Tuesday evening to see if any Members will support raising the debt limit without any spending reform – essentially a blank check for even more spending:

“A day before they huddle with President Obama at the White House, Republicans will vote on the administration’s initial request that the nation’s $14.3 trillion debt ceiling be lifted without any accompanying spending reductions. Over 100 House Democrats have insisted upon a ‘clean’ vote, with more unannounced:

“‘Well, when Mr. Cantor says it doesn’t have enough support, Mr. Welch has 114, of which I’m not one – I would vote for that,’ Hoyer said, referring to Rep. This is despite the fact that the Democrats and their allies have been the ‘undisputed kings’ of debt:

Jason Altmire’s Democrat leaders are so unwilling to relinquish their spending spree that they are insisting upon taking more money from American taxpayers. Will Altmire today help them continue to indebt current and future generations of Pennsylvania families to foreign countries like China by voting to protect their ability to keep borrowing from any cuts?
