Heck on May jobless numbers: ‘Completely unacceptable’

Rep. Joe Heck, R-Nev., said the following on the report that Nevada’s jobless rate fell to 12.1 percent in May, while unemployment in Las Vegas increased to 12.4 percent:

“On the one year anniversary of President Obama’s recovery summer, Nevada’s unemployment rate is at 12.1%. This is completely unacceptable to Nevadans. The recent National Federation of Independent Business report is further proof that Washington’s unchecked spending and numerous new regulations are harming the economy. The only way to bring jobs back to Nevada is by listening to our job creators and addressing their concerns.”
