Chairman’s Letter to Supporters: No Spending Cuts

June 23, 2011

Dear Supporter,

While House Republicans continue to deliver on our promise to reduce federal spending, Democrats have doubled-down on their failed agenda of borrowing and spending.

Last week, the Republicans voted to cut $2.7 billion in discretionary spending, but the untold part of the story: every single Democrat in the House voted no – every single one.

All of them voted against making cuts in the federal government’s annual spending… again!

The Democrats proved once again that they are unwilling to cut federal spending.

With Democrats, you get excuses on federal spending.

With Republicans, you get action.

Please donate $3, $5, $10 – or whatever you can afford – today so that House Republicans can continue our efforts to make necessary cuts in federal spending. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Pete Sessions
NRCC Chairman

P.S. Spending battles will continue to be a common occurrence as long as Democrats refuse to budge from their failed agenda of borrowing and spending. Your contribution today will help us solidify our gains in the House, preserving the majority we need to make necessary cuts in federal spending. Your gift today of $3 or $5 will help us control federal spending.
