New Evidence in Janice Hahn’s Gang Connections

July 7, 2011

Fox 11 Los Angeles has the real story on Janice Hahn, the Democratic nominee running for Congress in California’s 36th district.

Hahn has multiple ties to known Los Angeles gang members who continued their dangerous and harmful activities while cashing checks for their services as “paid intervention workers”.

Despite a cease and desist order from Hahn’s attorneys, Fox 11 LA ran a follow up to a story that began three years ago.

When Fox 11 first tried to get answers from Councilwoman Hahn, she abruptly walked out of an interview after a member of her staff was unable to pivot the questions away from her ties to the criminal community.

The question that prompted her to walk out: “Should convicted drug dealers and rapists work as gang intervention workers?”

Hahn’s actions clearly speak to her position even if she herself won’t.

Convicted armed robber, drug user, and rapist Steve “PJ Steve” Myrick, who is serving two life sentences, claimed he was working with Janice Hahn as a paid gang intervention worker supporting the “peace movement”.

“I started working with Janice Hahn, ya know what I’m saying.”

In addition to receiving a pay check while continuing his gang activities, Myrick also claims that Hahn once intervened on his behalf to get him out of jail after an arrest for a litany of misdemeanors.

“That’s why I’m out right now. Miss Hahn got me out like three weeks ago.”

The story goes on to detail other gang members who are “making a living as a gang intervention agent sponsored by Janice Hahn.”

Next week is the special election in California. If you want to know who Janice Hahn really is, check out the stories on www.hahngotmeout.com.
