Washington — The National Republican Congressional Committee announced the release of a new television ad that highlights Kurt Schrader’s irresponsible fiscal choices that have made the economic storm Oregon families are suffering from even worse. Far from changing the way Washington does business, Schrader has neglected the needs of his constituents by championing Obama’s job-destroying healthcare takeover and failed stimulus package that has left the economy in shambles.
“American families can no longer weather the storm of Kurt Schrader’s excessive spending spree and job-destroying policies, as his plans for higher taxes and more borrowing will force our economy to collapse under the strain,” said NRCC Communications Director Paul Lindsay. “For too long job creation and business confidence has been dismal at best for Schrader’s constituents in Oregon. Is Schrader ready to drop his allegiance to Obama’s big-government agenda and get serious about economic recovery?”
