Job Creation Completely Stifled Under Democrats’ Failed Leadership in Washington
Business Confidence Stagnant After Democrats Continue to Demand More of Their Same Failed Policies

DC DEMOCRATS STILL DON’T GET IT: Washington Democrat leaders like Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) continue to insist that their policies are working, and have worked since Day One:

"We are on the upswing ever since President Obama took office." (Anthony Man, "Wasserman Schultz blasts Republicans, defends Obama, tears up on Social Security," [South Florida] Sun Sentinel, 8/29/11)

MADE IN WASHINGTON, DC: The economy simply isn’t creating jobs, and businesses are reluctant to hire after the failed red tape and overreaching government that President Obama and his Washington Democrat allies have strapped on them:

"The unchanged payroll figure is a symbol of the stagnant labor picture that is evident elsewhere in the jobs report. Right now the biggest problem isn’t as much employers cutting back as it is a reluctance to hire more workers."

"Treading water may not sound so bad, but with a population that is constantly growing and nearly 14 million still unemployed thanks to the recession, it won’t take much to pull the economy back below the surface. If businesses don’t start feeling confident enough to hire, it may not be long before they’re forced to make further cuts." (Phil Izzo, "Reluctance to Hire Stalls Job Market," The Wall Street Journal‘s Real Time Economics Blog, 9/2/11)
