Chairman’s Letter to Supporters – Threatening is Not Governing

Dear Supporter,

Last week, you sent a message to President Obama, but now he is ignoring you, me and the American people.

Despite voters roundly rejecting his failed agenda, President Obama has the audacity to threaten to veto any plan aimed at fixing our budget crisis that does not include his demand for a new $1.5 trillion tax increase.

President Obama is aiming to outdo his own record in a race for failed policies.

We cannot allow this to happen, which is why my House colleagues have pledged to triple any donation you make between now and midnight on September 30th.

That’s right, every dollar you give will yield three extra dollars for Republicans to remain on offense.

Our economy is sputtering and the last thing we need is to take $1.5 trillion away from hardworking Americans and put it in the hands of the government.

Threatening is not governing. Their policies have failed, but the President and Democrats have shown, once and for all, they have no interest in changing their ways or listening to the American people.

Act immediately to ensure that your generous support is tripled by House Republicans. Your support is critical to ensuring that threats like this never become reality.
