Former Rep. Frank Kratovil (D-Big Government Studies) Seeks Judgeship
As Nancy Pelosi’s party pushes Stimulus 2.0, one of the former Speaker’s one-term wonders who helped pass the first trillion-dollar failure is out looking for a new job. Former Rep. Frank Kratovil of Maryland spent his time in Congress fighting for higher taxes, more spending and bigger government instead of helping to turn the economy around. In a turn of events, now Kratovil is out looking for another government job as the economy continues to struggle: “Having lost his reelection race in Maryland’s 1st congressional district last November after one term in office, Kratovil recently settled into his post as the third-in-command at the Prince George’s County state’s attorney’s office. The duties were familiar, because before he was elected to Congress, Kratovil had spent six years as Queen Anne’s County state’s attorney. Now he’s interested in a different title — judge.” (Ben Pershing, “Ex-Rep. Frank Kratovil Applies for Judgeship,” Washington Post, 10/6/2011) ###
