With Democrats Unwilling to Give Up Job-Crushing Ways, Americans Give Up Looking for Work
A New Gallup Job Creation Index Shows Economic Growth has been Consistently Stagnant under Dems’ Anti-Growth Agenda

DC DEMOCRATS STILL DON’T GET IT: Last week, the Obama Administration jumped on the newly-announced November 8.6 percent unemployment rate as an indicator of a strengthening economy:

"The latest unemployment report is a sign that the economy continues to heal from the recession, Alan Krueger, the White House chief economist, said Friday." (Greg Robb, "Job data shows U.S. healing: White House’s Krueger," Market Watch, 12/2/2011)

MADE IN WASHINGTON, DC: Today, a new Gallup jobs index proves that the economy is far from healing under Obama and his fellow Washington Democrats’ job-crushing policies as Americans give up looking for work all together:

"Job market conditions in the United States were flat in November, as Gallup’s Job Creation Index remained at +14, similar to the range seen since May. This is another indication that Friday’s sharp drop to 8.6% in the government’s U.S. unemployment rate may be overstated.

"…it may be that the sharp decline in the U.S. unemployment rate last month was more of a negative than a positive sign for the U.S. economy. The sharp decline in the workforce last month may be more of a reflection of the large number of Americans who have given up looking for work — as a result of the length and depth of the jobs recession — than of any improvement in job market conditions." (Dennis Jacobe, "U.S. Job Creation Flat in November," Gallup, 12/6/2011)
