Oregon “Frontline” Democrat Demonstrates Hypocrisy by Staying Silent on DCCC’s Disgraced Fundraiser’s Political Donations
Washington — Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) Chairman Steve Israel made the point this weekend that there’s too much money in politics, but he failed to mention the high-profile donations from disgraced Democrat fundraiser Jon Corzine that have benefitted members of the DCCC’s “Frontline” program like Kurt Schrader. Schrader should have immediately called upon the DCCC to return or donate the tainted cash Corzine gave them in light of his unscrupulous business practices that saw billions in his customers’ money go missing.
“Kurt Schrader has continued to stay silent on the DCCC’s tainted campaign cash even after their disgraced donor Jon Corzine lost billions of dollars from American families and farmers,” said NRCC Communications Director Paul Lindsay. “As long as Schrader continues to benefit from the DCCC’s scandal-filled Corzine cash, Democrat complaints over the influence of money in politics will continue to ring hollow and completely hypocritical.”
