Congressman Dan Benishek in Traverse City, says Government Needs to Live Within Budget

9and10 News sat down with Congressman Dan Benishek today to talk about what’s happening in Washington. Congressman Benishek, who represents Michigan’s First District, has been in office for a little over a year.

The Congressman tells us the biggest issue right now is spending. Out of every dollar the Government spends, they’re borrowing 40 cents. Looking ahead to 2012, the Congressman says in order to get the economy back on track, the Government needs to start living within their means.
