Obama Demands Raises for Federal Bureaucrats While Private Sector Workers Struggle in His Failed Economy
Democrats Propose Raise for Washington Bureaucrats Who Already Get Paid 16 Percent More than Private Sector Counterparts

DC DEMOCRATS STILL DON’T GET IT: Regardless of the dire state of the American economy, it has always been easy for President Obama and his fellow Washington Democrats to find ways to recklessly spend American families’ tax dollars and their newest idea is no exception:

“By contrast, President Obama’s 2013 budget request, due to be sent to Congress on Feb. 13, is to ask for a 0.5 percent cost-of-living raise for workers in 2013.” (Erik Wasson, “Federal workers get 16 percent more than private sector, CBO finds,” The Hill, 1/30/2012)

MADE IN WASHINGTON, DC: However, Democrats think it’s too much to ask Washington bureaucrats to sacrifice even though they are compensated 16% more than their private sector counterparts:

“The Congressional Budget Office found Monday that federal workers are compensated 16 percent more than comparable private sector workers on average.” (Erik Wasson, “Federal workers get 16 percent more than private sector, CBO finds,” The Hill, 1/30/2012)
