President Obama Scrambled Yesterday To Spin The Democrats’ Anti-Energy Policies, But Offered Nothing New Except Their Same Failed Policies:
“The president repeated his message that there is no ‘silver bullet’ to provide immediate relief at the pump, but he touted a 19-page interagency report detailing ‘significant progress’ toward reducing the country’s long-term dependence on foreign oil.” (David Nakamura, “Obama makes public appeal to consumers on gas prices,” The Washington Post, 3/12/12)
These Continued Policies Are Costing Small Businesses More And More At The Pump:
“With a gallon of gasoline costing an average of $3.80 nationally on Monday, according to AAA, some businesses are coming up with a plan to keep rising costs at the pump and in the air from eating into their bottom lines…‘Small and midsize businesses … are more price sensitive and will likely begin reducing travel, or travel by car…‘This would impact airlines substantially, as these businesses make up the majority of revenue airlines receive from the business travel segment.'” (Charisse Jones, “Rising fuel prices eat into travel budgets,” USA Today, 3/12/12)
