Obama Claims “Energy Success” as His Pending Regulations Threaten to Stifle Energy Production
President Obama in Crisis Mode Over Failed Energy Policies as They Continue to Make Matters Worse

Once Again Today, President Obama Continued To Claim His Administration’s Energy Policies Are Helping Working Families Coping With Prices At The Gas Pump:

“In what has become a weekly ritual, President Obama on Thursday defended his administration’s energy policy, in the face of relentlessly rising gasoline prices, to an American public that believes he can do more to ease the pain at the pump.” (Mark Landler, “Obama Defends Energy Policy, Hitting Back at Presidential Candidates,” The New York Times, 3/15/12)

But A New Report Shows The Obama Administration’s Massive Pending Regulations Could Cause Energy Production To Plummet:

“Domestic oil and natural gas production could plummet if proposed Environmental Protection Agency regulations, designed to limit emissions from well sites, go into effect later this year, industry leaders said Thursday. The natural gas extraction technique known as ‘fracking’ would be hardest hit, and fuel extracted via the popular process would drop by about 52 percent, according to a new study commissioned by the American Petroleum Institute. Total gas production would decrease by about 11 percent, while domestic oil production could fall by as much as 37 percent, the report says.” (Ben Wolfgang, “EPA regs could hamper oil, natural gas production, report says,” The Washington Times, 3/15/12)
