Will Sutton continue to spin her severe spending sprees?
March 28, 2012
Good Evening –
Tonight, Betty Sutton will have the opportunity to take another spin for her extreme vision for taxing and spending which is drastically out-of-touch with reality. With Ohio families tightening their belts and living within their means during these tough economic times, voters will find it easy to reject Sutton’s extreme tax-and-spending ways.
Last year, Sutton voted for the FY2012 Congressional Black Caucus budget that would have increased taxes on Ohio families by $3.9 trillion and increased spending by $44 billion. Will Sutton vote for this drastic budget proposal being offered again now that she is facing an difficult re-election bid?
Sutton’s Budget:
+$3,965,700,000,000 Additional taxes over the next 10 years.
+$44,825,000,000 Additional spending next fiscal year.
+$6,000,000,000 Increased spending on foreign aid programs like the “U.S. Institute of Peace” and “Global Health and Child Survival Programs at USAID for family planning” next year.
