Under Dem Leadership, Rising Everyday Food Costs Hit Family Budgets Harder
According to the AFBF the Costs of Meats, Cheeses and Other Staples Are Spiking, Already Drastically Up From This Time Last Year

DC DEMOCRATS STILL DON’T GET IT: DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz claims that her party is ready to take responsibility for the dismal state of the economy:

“’We own the economy. We own the beginning of the turnaround and we want to make sure that we continue that pace of recovery…,’ Wasserman Schultz told Mike Allen at POLITICO’s ‘Playbook Breakfast.’” (Molly Ball, “Debbie Wasserman Schultz: ‘We own the economy’, Politico, June 15, 2011)

MADE IN WASHINGTON, DC: That being said, Democrats continue to push their job-crushing regime of regulations and higher taxes that is making it harder for struggling American families to recovery in this Democrat-led economy:

“A basket of meats, cheese and other goodies from the grocery store cost 6.9% more in the first quarter of 2012 than it did a year earlier, according to the American Farm Bureau Federation.

“A group of 16 items, including cheddar cheese, sirloin-tip roast, salad, orange juice and eggs, cost consumers $52.47 during the first three months of the year, the farm group said. During the same period last year, the price was $49.07. In the fourth quarter of 2011, it cost $49.23.” (Tiffany Hsu, “Meats, cheese and other supermarket food now cost 6.9% more,” Los Angeles Times, April 12, 2012)
