MADE IN DC: Obama’s Deficit-Expanding 2013 Budget to Devastate Economic Recovery
According to CBO, Economic Output for the Next Five Years Would Take Serious Hit From Obama’s Proposed Budget
DC DEMOCRATS STILL DON’T GET IT: President Obama said his administration has only fulfilled 60 percent of his big-government agenda over the past three years:
“‘We’ve got about 60% done in three years,’ Obama told donors in Los Angeles. ‘So I’m pretty confident we can get the other 40% done in the next five years.'” (David Jackson, “Obama: About 60% of Agenda is Done,” USA Today, 10/25/2011)
MADE IN WASHINGTON, DC: The CBO announced that if Obama’s proposed budget is passed, the other 40 percent of his job-crushing agenda would result in the American economy taking a serious hit over the next five years:
“The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office said Friday that President Obama’s 2013 budget will hurt long term economic growth, arguing that larger deficits would reduce economic capital available to businesses.
“After the next five years, the CBO says the Obama proposals would reduce economic output by between 0.5 percent and 2.2 percent.” (Erik Wasson, “CBO: Obama budget will hit economic growth,” The Hill, April 20, 2012)
