NRCC New TV Ad: Critz Has Supported ObamaCare 20 Times
Pennsylvania Democrat’s Record Far Removed from Rhetoric on Campaign Trail

Washington — Just a week after Mark Critz defeated Jason Altmire in Pennsylvania’s 12th Congressional District Democratic Primary, the National Republican Congressional Committee announced the launch of a new television ad highlighting Critz’s repeated support for President Obama’s big-government healthcare overhaul. Not only will ObamaCare crush small businesses’ ability to grow and hire with new tax hikes, but it will also jeopardize the quality and access to coverage for many Southwestern Pennsylvanians.

“Pennsylvania voters might be able to forgive Mark Critz for one wrong vote to raise healthcare costs and slash Medicare, but there is no excuse for doing it 20 times,” said NRCC Communications Director Paul Lindsay. “Somewhere along Mark Critz’s path from Johnstown to Washington, he forgot about the needs of struggling families and aligned himself with his Democrat leaders to ensure that their prized healthcare overhaul remains the law of the land.”

The script for this ad is as follows:

CRITZ: “It’s being said that I say one thing and I do another”

ANNOUNCER: When Mark Critz first ran for office, he said he opposed ObamaCare and its cuts to Medicare.

But since then, Critz has opposed efforts to repeal or defund ObamaCare 20 times.

CRITZ: “It’s being said that I say one thing and I do another”

ANNOUNCER: Obama’s radical policies are hurting us – and Critz stands by him.

Call Mark Critz. Tell him we need someone on our side in Washington.

Not theirs.
