Dem Policies Put National Debt on Track to Double Size of US Economy
Economists Warn that Failure to Control Spending May Lead to European-Style Fiscal Crisis

DC DEMOCRATS STILL DON’T GET IT: President Obama Once Said Saddling Future Generations With A Massive National Debt Is “Unpatriotic”:

“The problem is… to take out a credit card from the Bank of China in the name of our children, driving up our national debt…so that we now have over $9 trillion of debt that we are going to have to pay back — $30,000 for every man, woman and child. That’s irresponsible. It’s unpatriotic. (“Flashback: Obama says Adding $4 Trillion to National Debt ‘Unpatriotic,'” Fox News, 3/20/12)

MADE IN WASHINGTON, DC:  However, The Democrats’ Spending Spree Has Exploded the Size of the National Debt. A New CBO Report Says Debt Will Double The Size Of The U.S. Economy And Could Cause A European-Style Fiscal Crisis:

“The new CBO report warns that…the long-term outlook for the national debt increasingly dire. Under CBO’s most likely scenario in which lawmakers extend current tax rates and fail to curb entitlement spending, debt held by the public would reach 109 percent of the economy by 2026, and it would be almost 200 percent of GDP by 2037.  Many economists have warned that if debt held by the public approaches 100 percent of GDP it can bring on the kind of fiscal crisis being felt in European countries today.”  (“Dire CBO report projects US debt will double GDP by 2037,” The Hill, 6/5/12)
