Is 40 Months of Unemployment Above 8.0% What ‘Doing Fine’ Looks Like to Chandler?
The President’s Unfortunate Remarks Forces Kentucky Families to Reevaluate How Truly Out-of-Touch the Dem Party Has Become

WASHINGTON — The last four years haven’t been easy for small business owners as they have seen their taxes increase, burdensome red tape expand and healthcare premiums for employees sky rocket due to Ben Chandler’s party’s irresponsible policies. Under a blanket of uncertainty Chandler’s policies have made it so that small businesses cannot move forward and grow the economy as they struggle to stay afloat under the crushing Democrat agenda.

“President Obama has decided to ignore that his Washington agenda has made it harder for small business owners to hire and grow the economy,” said NRCC Communications Director Paul Lindsay. “Will Ben Chandler also turn a blind eye to the private sector and pretend as if his overwhelmingly reckless policies haven’t crushed economic growth?”

Instead of focusing on promoting an environment for growth, the Democrat party has made it known that the next four years will be dedicated to their war on American energy:

“The President has said that the most important policy he could address in his second term is climate change, one of the few issues that he thinks could fundamentally improve the world decades from now.” (Ryan Lizza, “The Second Term,” The New Yorker, 6/11/2012)

This shift from focusing on fixing the economy comes after President Obama said small businesses are “doing fine”:

“President Barack Obama offered up a gift to Republicans Friday morning, declaring ‘the private sector is doing fine,’ at a White House press conference.” (Zeke Miller, “Obama: ‘The Private Sector is Doing Fine,” BuzzFeed, 6/8/2012)

But in the wake of unacceptably high unemployment and looming new taxes, Americans have made it known that they will not tolerate the Democrat party trying to ignore the prevailing economic turmoil:

“Twenty percent of Americans say they are satisfied with the way things are going in the United States, a slight decline from recent months…”
“The state of the economy is undoubtedly a factor in Americans’ generally sour mood. Sixty-eight percent of Americans mention some aspect of the economy when asked about the most important problem facing the country today…” (Jeffery M. Jones, “U.S. Satisfaction Slips Slightly to 20%,” Gallup, 06/13/2012)
