A Look Inside the Obama-McIntyre Game Plan: Delusion, Distraction and Disaster
Obama’s Speech Proved Dem Party Plans to Continue to Trade Growing the Economy for Growing Government

WASHINGTON — June hasn’t been an easy month for Mike McIntyre’s party in Washington as weak economic indicators consistently confirm that Democrat policies have failed American families. North Carolina families watched as President Obama exposed that they have no intention to stop burying the fragile economy in irresponsible government spending and burdensome regulations.

“The message from McIntyre’s party this week of more failed Washington policies proves how delusional they are to the needs of North Carolina families,” said NRCC Communications Director Paul Lindsay. “If one thing is clear it’s that Mike McIntyre will not be able to distract his constituents from the disastrous effects his job-crushing, big-government priorities.”

Delusion – President Obama recently said that under his party’s reckless agenda small businesses were ‘doing fine:’

“President Barack Obama offered up a gift to Republicans Friday morning, declaring ‘the private sector is doing fine,’ at a White House press conference.” (Zeke Miller, “Obama: ‘The Private Sector is Doing Fine,” BuzzFeed, 6/8/2012)

Distraction – Instead of focusing on fixing the economy with common sense solutions, the Democrat party plans on doubling down on crippling American energy thus destroying jobs:

“The President has said that the most important policy he could address in his second term is climate change, one of the few issues that he thinks could fundamentally improve the world decades from now.” (Ryan Lizza, “The Second Term,” The New Yorker, 6/11/2012)

Disaster – Three years ago the Democrat party said their nearly $1 trillion stimulus package would keep unemployment below 8.0 percent but this month is month 40 of unemployment above 8.0 percent:

“The unemployment rate has been at or above 8 percent for 40 consecutive months. Before President Obama took office, unemployment had not been above 8 percent for this long since the Great Depression.” (Jane Susskind, “Unemployment, By the Numbers,” Independent Political News, 6/1/2012)
